Werling Associates, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Stephen E. Werling, DBA, SPHR who serves as President of the firm. Dr. Werling has a wealth of knowledge in the fields of compensation and incentive system design, as well as, skill-based selection processes, performance management, strategic human resource management and other technical human resource fields. Dr. Werling also has over 30 years of administrative and instructional experience at the university level.
In 1987 Werling Associates, Inc. started conducting salary surveys in the San Antonio area. Since 1995, we have conducted the San Antonio Area Wage & Benefit Survey which is the most comprehensive wage and benefit survey in the San Antonio area. We also conduct several other salary surveys including: Texas Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration and Education (TSHHRAE) and San Antonio Not-For-Profit Wage and Benefit Survey.
