The purpose of this presentation is to discuss compensatory strategies that should be considered when addressing the aging demographics of members of the Board of Directors, executive officers and key employees. This presentation will cover (not an exhaustive list): (i) aging demographics, (ii) work anywhere issues, (iii) “who” should be responsible for implementing succession strategies, (iv) what timeline should be used, (v) how the foregoing should change in emergency and unplanned situations, (vi) building a pipeline of candidates, and (vii) examples of successful and not-so-successful succession strategies.
